Wayne Butler Turner, 83 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

Wayne was born March 21, 1940 in Warrensburg, the son of Roy and Marguerite (Butler) Turner.  He graduated from Warrensburg High School and resided in Warrensburg for the majority of his life.  Wayne served in the United States Army.  He was united in marriage to Mary Jean Nace on October 11, 1968 in Grain Valley.  He was in bridge construction by trade.  Wayne's hobbies included most anything involving woodworking and he was an avid NASCAR and Chiefs fan.

Survivors include his wife: Mary; son: Ken Turner (Ann) of Wichita, KS and two grandchildren: Carter and Laney Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Galen Turner.

No public services are being scheduled.  There will be a private interment at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens at a later date.
