Wanda Lou Fields, 88 of Independence, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Independence Manor.

Wanda was born December 12, 1934 in Peculiar, Missouri the daughter of Hiram and Marie (Hobbs) Fields.  She graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence.  Her hobbies included sewing.

Survivors include two daughters: Teresa Eckels of Cedaredge, CO and Veronda Engelke of Independence, MO; brother: William "Billy" Fields of Independence, MO; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Ramona.

There will be a private interment at Bluff Springs Cemetery, north of Kingsville.

Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
