Virginia Cicle, lovingly known as Jenny, passed away on April 1, 2026, leaving a life full of love, kindness, and service to others. She found joy in simple pleasures-tending her garden, fishing, and spending cherished time with her grandchildren.

Virginia was a devoted wife to Tom Cicle, married for 47 years, as well as a loving mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. Her family was at the center of her life, and she shared steady love, warmth, and laughter with all who knew her, delighting in family traditions like playing pitch-a joy she carried from her mother and aunts.

A natural in the kitchen, Jenny never followed a recipe, so she never made the same dish twice, but her exceptional cakes and meals always brought joy to family gatherings. Sharing food was one of her many ways of expressing love.

Her faith in Jesus guided her life. She served her church faithfully and spent years doing secretarial work and writing grants, helping support the Odessa community. Even in later years, living with dementia, her spunk and humor shone through, bringing smiles to all, especially when enjoying simple treats like milkshakes.

She leaves behind three children: Victor (Lisa) Cicle, Andy Cicle, and Estella (Charles) Myrick; and 11 grandchildren: Andrew, Kira, Jacob, Helaina, Elijah, Zackariah, Ellie, and Abby Cicle, and Clayton, Moses, and Sampson Myrick.

Jenny will be remembered for her loving heart, strong faith, and devotion to family and community. Her countless cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Tony Purvis officiating. Interment will follow at the Columbus Christian Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
