Vida Marlene Gentile, 67 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.

Vida was born December 26, 1951 at Lansing, Michigan; daughter of Elvis McDonald Weaver and Earline (Tucker) Weaver.  She was united in marriage to John Robert Gentile November 11, 1979 at Summerville, South Carolina.  Through the years, the couple resided in Ohio, Indiana, Boston, and mainly in South Carolina.  In 1998, the couple moved from South Carolina to Warrensburg. Vida was an avid reader.  She also enjoyed computer gaming and word search puzzles.

Survivors include three children: Joseph (Linda) Gentile of Warrensburg, MO; Jessica (Jeff Newby) Gentile of Warrensburg, MO and Angela (Randy) Pedersen of Omaha, NE; three sisters: Bettie Provost of Warrensburg, MO; Peggy Daniels of South Carolina and Tina (Jay) Jensen of Virginia Beach, VA; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; four brothers and five sisters.

Following Cremation, entombment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville.
