Vickie Ellen Millstead, 63 of Buckner, Missouri went home to Jesus on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs.

Vickie was born November 13, 1957 in Warrensburg, Missouri the daughter of James Fate Millstead and Linda Dee (Hanrahan) Millstead.  She graduated from high school in Ft. Scott, Kansas and eventually earned a degree The Electronics Institue in Kansas City.  She was employed with Harmon Electronics in Grain Valley for 27 years, eventually retiring due to illness.  Vickie loved most all things outdoors including fishing, camping and boating.  She was a wonderful cook and maintained a huge vegetable garden and enjoyed canning.  She was an avid reader.  Vickie cherished family gatherings and loved all her nephews and nieces.

Survivors include her father and stepmother: James and Marlene Millstead of Warrensburg, MO; five siblings: Pamela Mirner (Kevin) of Naples, FL; Michael Millstead (Donna) of Lexington, MO; Martha Lewis (Mark) of Warrensburg, MO; Lisa Spence (Dennis) of Demopolis, AL; and her dearest friend of over 40 years Nancy Simmons of Buckner, MO; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her fur baby, Abby.  Vickie was preceded in death by her mother, Linda.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 3 ^rd at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Anthony Hopkins, nephew officiating. Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens.
