Theresa Maria Odenthal Richter, 83 o f Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville.

Theresa was born in Germany. She moved to the United States in the late 1950s, and resided in California until she moved to Missouri. She was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Warrensburg. She was baptized on May 27, 1934 and confirmed on May 30, 1948. Theresa was a waitress at several local restaurants throughout the years. She was married to Carl Richter on March 25, 1995 in Springfield, Missouri. She was an avid seamstress

and had a passion for horses-riding and showing for many years. She was a wonderful mother.

Survivors include a daughter, Alicia of Kansas City, MO; two sisters of Germany; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and very close friends: Ray and Mary Carstensen; Pastor Joel Kurz and Rhonda and Stu Miller, all of Warrensburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 2010 and a son, Michael.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 15th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rev. Joel Kurz of Bethlehem Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville.
