Teresa Kay Doerflinger, 57 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at her home.

Teresa was born January 17, 1964 in Kansas City, the daughter of Elmer A. James and Betty L. (Veach) James.  She was raised in Kansas City.  She moved to the Warrensburg / Centerview area years ago.  Teresa was employed with Holiday Movers and later, Carlyle Van Lines.  She enjoyed playing bingo.  Her hobbies included collecting things, notably unicorns and Native American things.  Teresa also enjoyed doing craftwork.

Survivors include her daughter: Mary Sawford (Heath) of Smithton, MO; son: Jesse James of Warrensburg, MO; two sisters: Christy Hill of Warrensburg, MO and Jeannie Reed (Sam) of Ohio; brother: Dwight James (Jessica) of Texas; six grandchildren: Samantha, Angelina, Corinthea, Oriana, Kaitlyn and Leah; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister: Terrie Townley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date.
