Shirley Ann Hurd of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away August 26, 2021 at the Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Shirley was born October 2, 1941 in Stanford, Kentucky the daughter of John and Seydi Collins.  She was united in marriage to Richard Thomas Hurd, Sr. on September 30, 1961 in Austin, Texas. Shirley worked at the Those Were The Days store in Warrensburg for over 20 years.  She enjoyed cooking, as well as attending garage sales and auctions.

Survivors include her daughter: Rene Mayden (Dustin) of Warrensburg, Missouri; son: Richard Thomas Hurd, Jr. (Amber) of Moreno Valley, California; seven grandchildren: Rick Hurd, lll; Janelle; Kristen; Shannon; Matthew; Mikayla; and Jordyn Marie; five great grandchildren; and best friend: Jeanne Copper. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister: Beverly Mitten.

Pallbearers will be Matthew G. Mayden, Matthew G. Clawson, Collin Rice, Brian Webster, Richard T. Hurd and Chase Copper.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Interment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
