Sherry Jane Gudde, 51 of Leeton, Missouri passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.

Sherry was born January 16, 1967 in Warrensburg, daughter of Joseph Bernard Gudde and Mary Elizabeth (Price) Gudde. She was raised in Holden, Centerview, Pittsville area and graduated from Crest Ridge High School in 1985. She attended St. Mary's College in Leavenworth, Kansas for music. In 1987, Sherry moved to Leeton with her partner, Kathy where she spent the rest of her life. Her entire career was dedicated to serving the elderly, first at Ridge Crest Nursing Center before joining Country Club Care Center the day the doors opened in 1996. She loved crocheting, online gaming, photography and flower gardening. During her school days, her passion was music.

Survivors include her life partner: Kathy Emily; son: Joseph Gudde; both of the home; other mother: Mary Jane Gudde of Holden; two brothers: Phillip Joseph (Melissa) Gudde of Sedalia and William John (Lisa) Gudde of Warrensburg; two sisters-in-law: Shelley (Dannie) Richardson of Salem, MO and Giget (Vincent) Price of Potosi, MO; brother-in-law: Eddie Emily of Salem; adopted grandparents: Gene and Linda Fuller of Warrensburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 11th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Holden with Father Curt Vogel and Father Pete Savidge concelebrating. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, north of Holden.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.
