Sherlene T. Belanger, 79, of Warrensburg, Missouri left this world on Tuesday, April 17 surrounded by, and in the hearts of her friends and loving family.

Sherlene was born November 4, 1938 in Sedalia, Missouri to Louis and Lydia Keele.  On August 18, 1956 she married the love of her life, Arthur. The majority of her time was spent raising their children, laughing and telling stories. She enjoyed company and no one left hungry. Sherlene was devoted to her faith and ensured all her family, "I pray for you."

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Belanger; son, Arthur Belanger Jr.; sister, Kathy Spear; brother, Donald Keele and son in-law Jack Byers. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Arthur Belanger; brother, Leroy (Ruth) Keele; children, Debra (Matt) Maxon, Jean Byers, Steve (Sharon) Belanger, Joyce (Dan) Deevers, and Sherry (Jason) Potts. Sherlene was the beloved grandmother of 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be Saturday, April 21, at 1:30 P.M. held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warrensburg, with Father Joe Bathke officiating. Interment will be at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens with friends and family at a later date.
