Sharon Fay (Todd) Abney, 74 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 02, 2017 at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg, following a brief illness.

Sharon was born June 20, 1943 at Butler, Missouri to Ralph and Dorothy (Rohlfing) Todd. She grew up in Appleton City, Missouri. Sharon married Don Abney on October 30, 1987. He preceded her in death on August 3, 2005. She retired from CMSU on July 31, 2005, after 32 years' service. Sharon worked at Ward Edwards Library, then James C. Kirkpatrick Library, as a library assistant.

She is survived by her daughter: Stephanie Klee and friend, Todd Fick of Warrensburg; grandson: Corey Klee and friend, Melissa Dorsey of Owensboro, Kentucky; great granddaughter: Ella Dawn Klee of Owensboro, Kentucky; twin sister: Karen (Mike) Myers of Springfield, Missouri; nephew: Curt (Michelle) Sexton of Austin, Texas; Kenda (Jeff) Andrews of Springfield, Missouri; along with several other cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 10th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rev. Joel Kurz of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Chaplain Erik Kurz of Crossroads Hospice co-officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
