Sallie Nickerson, 83 of Leeton, Missouri; formerly of Anchorage, Alaska passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at her home in Leeton.

Sallie was born March 31, 1938 in Reno, Nevada, daughter of Merle Atcheson and Mary A. (Thompson) Atcheson.  She graduated from Reno High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of Nevada at Reno.    She was united in marriage to Charles A. Nickerson on February 25, 1966 in Anchorage.  She was a real estate agent for many years.  Sallie resided in Anchorage until moving to Leeton in May of 2017 to be closer to her daughter.  She was an avid reader and accomplished pianist.  She lived for her family and close friends.

Survivors include her daughter: Anne Colborn (Aaron) of Leeton, MO; eight grandchildren: Tiffany Colborn, Shawn Colborn, Anthony Colborn, Ellen Hirni, Brandon Colborn, Troy Hirni, IV; Cassandra Colborn and Christian Hirni; two great grandchildren: Valkyrie Hunsaker and Nike Knable; sister-in-law: Sandra Atcheson of Hawaii; three brothers: Jim Atcheson (Lynn) of Reno, NV; Steve Atcheson (Linda) of Texas and Fred Atcheson of Reno, NV and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and her parents.

Following cremation, services will be private.
