Russell Newman Raber, 60 of Blue Springs, Missouri; formerly of Holden passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs.

Russell was born July 6, 1961 in Warrensburg, Missouri the son of Sam W. Raber and Linda (Fitzgerel) Raber.  He graduated from Holden High School.  Shortly thereafter, he went to work for the Holden Water Department.  Russell was united in marriage to Deborah Sue Fitzgerel on September 9, 1989 in Holden.  The couple resided in Harrisonville prior to moving to Blue Springs.  Russell was employed with Cass Co. Water Dept., #5 at the time of his passing.  His passion was farming.

Survivors include his wife, Debbi; father: Sam Raber (Doris) of Holden, MO; three sisters: Julie Getz, Jennifer Adams and Catherine Ray, all of Holden, MO;and  sister-in-law: Sherri Reed of Blue Springs, MO; He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda and stepfather: Buster Saling; paternal grandparents: Russell and Mattie Raber and maternal grandparents:  Fletch and Nora Hallar.

There will be a private graveside service held at the Medford Cemetery.
