Roy Philip Asbury, 80 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Holden Manor Care Center.

Roy was born January 10, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Roy Asbury and Dorothy (Adamson) Asbury. He was united in marriage to Joyce Ann O'Dell on December 17, 1971 in Warrensburg. He was a resident of Warrensburg for the majority of his adult life.

Roy was employed with Walmart for many years.  He was an avid hunter, namely deer, dove and turkey.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce; brother-in-law, Gale M. O'Dell (Joan) of La Monte, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a celebration of life gathering announced at a later date.
