Ronald Keith
"Ron" West
Dec 25, 1938 — Jan 31, 2026
Ronald Keith "Ron" or "Ronnie" West, 87, passed away on January 31, 2026, in Warrensburg, Missouri. Born on December 25, 1938, in Dean Lake, Missouri, Ron lived a full and meaningful life marked by service, family, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Ron proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. His time in the military reflected his enduring sense of duty and commitment—qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
He found great joy in spending time outdoors. Whether fishing along Missouri's lakes or hunting in its woods, Ron cherished the peace and challenge of nature. He also enjoyed shooting sports and was happiest when watching his grandchildren participate in their athletic events—a devoted supporter from the sidelines.
Ron is lovingly remembered by his daughter Cindy and her husband Justin Smith Holden, Missouri; his son Justin and his wife Shayla West Garden City, Missouri; and his grandchildren Garrett Smith, Korben West, Riley Davis, and Allie Davis. He also leaves behind Joyce West, his former wife; and Carrie West, his niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents Curry and Helen West; and by his brother Richard West and sister-in-law Carolyn West.
A man of quiet strength and enduring loyalty, Ron will be missed by all who knew him.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
