Robert "Bob"
Eugene Bird
Jun 22, 1954 — Jun 13, 2019
Bob Bird, 65 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his home surrounded by family.
Bob was born June 22, 1954 in Warrensburg, the son of Robert Lewis Bird and Betty Jean (Marr) Bird. He was a graduate of University High school and attended Central Missouri State College.
He had been married to his wife, Debbie Bird for thirty years. Together, they have raised two sons, Benjamin Eugene Albert Bird and Lance Leroy Randolph. Bob's pride and joy were his sons. He was so proud of both their academic achievements, and he loved attending their track meets, cross country meets, and football games during their high school years. He was even more proud of the men they are today:
Benjamin, the husband of Michelle Bird and the father of Arianna Brown, Bentley and Nico Bird.
Lance, the husband of Sarah Randolph and the father of Tucker and Fisher Randolph.
Some of Bob's hobbies include woodworking, refurbishing vintage pieces and putting together model cars and trucks. Bob had many talents, but the most impressive, he could parallel park a semi with a 53 foot loaded Landall trailer like there was nothing to it. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially with his grandchildren. They brought him great joy. Bob always said you can never spoil a child, they are just loved.
Bob and Debbie enjoyed traveling, dancing, and visiting with family and friends. They loved having morning coffee together on the front porch, listening to and watching the birds. They simply loved being together ~ Forever & Always.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie, of the home; sons: Benjamin Bird (Michele), Lance Randolph (Sarah), both of Warrensburg; grandchildren: Arianna Brown, Tucker and Fisher Randolph, Bentley and Nico Bird; brother-in-law: Delbert Leroy Kendrick, Jr. and wife, Stacy; sister-in-law: Rebecca Christiansen and husband, John; his nieces: Whitney Weber (Zach); Brianna Mason (Shayden) and Katlyn Christiansen; his nephew: Dakota Christiansen; in addition to his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
