Robert Dean McCurdy, 64 of Kingsville, Missouri passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 at K U Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Robert was born March 6, 1960 in Kansas City, the son of Robert Eugene McCurdy and Beverly Joyce (Dukes) McCurdy.  He was raised in Kingsville having graduated from Kingsville High School.  He was united in marriage to Denise Kaye Sleichter on September 1, 2007 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  The couple had been together since 1992.  Robert was a lifelong Kingsville resident.  His passion was working on cars.  He loved tinkering and was a jack of all trades.

Survivors include his wife: Denise; daughter: Rebecca Dawn McCurdy - Biddle of Derby, KS; son: Ryan Dean Weber (Buffy) of Kansas; two sisters: Debra Ahrens (Rick) of Raytown, MO and Diane Benson of Lee's Summit, MO; two brothers:  Darrell McCurdy (Donna) of Tunas, MO and Kenneth McCurdy (Anita) of Concordia, MO; three grandchildren: Dathan Weber of Kansas; Danielle Weber of Kansas and Skyler Morrison of Derby, KS; great granddaughter: Emalaya Morrison of Derby, KS and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews: Brian McCurdy and Brandon McCurdy.

A celebration of life gathering will be scheduled at a later date.
