Robert John Brigham was born June 2nd, 1934, to Lyscom Dexter Brigham and Florence Rosalie Hoard Brigham in Decator, Michigan. Bob grew up in Union City, graduating high school there. It was in Union City that he met Mary C. Ruffalo Roderick whom he married on July 31, 1954. Bob attended Michigan State, University of Michigan, and University of Western Ontario where he received his PhD in petroleum geology.  Bob's career allowed him to live in many areas of the United States including Texas, Michigan, Oklahoma, Colorado and finally Missouri. He enjoyed a variety of activities including woodworking, hiking, fishing, ham radio, traveling, and especially cycling. He and his wife Mary enjoyed many cruise adventures together.

Bob is survived by four children:  David Brigham (Teresa), John Brigham, Susan Jensen (Joe), and Karen Strohmeyer (Scott), sixteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one sister, Peg Lackman, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by Mary, his beloved wife of 58 years, his brother James Dexter Brigham, his great grandson Landon Ellis, and his beloved Labradors Jerry and Andy.

Services will be held Friday, July 27th, at 11:00 AM at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.  Visitation will be one hour before services. His son, John Brigham, will be officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
