Robert Eugene "Bob" Burns, II, 72 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at The Arbors at Harmony Gardens in Warrensburg.

Bob was born July 23, 1952 in Independence, Missouri, the son of Robert Eugene and Betty (Witlow) Burns. He graduated from high school in Independence. Bob was united in marriage to Linda Robinson on April 18, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. His employment history includes working at a bread company, construction, and Frito Lay, retiring after 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, and dancing.

Survivors include his wife: Linda Burns; stepsons: Michael Kendrick; Billy Reynolds (Kim); stepgrandchildren: Austin Kendrick; Nolan Robinson; Jillian Kendrick; Kylie Cunningham; Kenzie Reynolds; and Kaitlyn Reynolds. He is preceded in death by his parents; son: Steven Burns; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rev. Tim Whitmore officiating. Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Kendrick, Billy Reynolds, Robert Stewart, Nicolas Stewart, Thomas Robinson, and Patrick Robinson.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
