Richard Lee Moore, 66 of Holden, Missouri; formerly of Kingsville passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.

Richard was born January 4, 1953 in Kansas City, the son of Richard L. Moore, Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth (Harding) Moore.  He graduated from Lee's Summit High School and attended CMSU in Warrensburg.  Richard lived in Holden for several years.  During this time, he was a custodian with the Holden School District.  In 1980, he moved to Kingsville where he started his family.  He eventually worked at Stahl's Specialty until retiring following thirty five years of service.  In high school, he won several track awards.

Survivors include his son: Richard (Rebecca) Moore of Lone Jack, MO; daughter: Angela Pate of Henryetta, OK; sister: Carolyn (Jerry) Lee of Holden, MO; and six grandchildren: Adrianna, Savannah, Brianna, Hannah, Landon and Zandon.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 8th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Rev. Charles Brant officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Monday at the funeral home.

There will be a private interment at the Holden Cemetery at a later date.
