Richard Edward "Rick" Dale, 76 of Centerview, Missouri passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Richard was born August 15, 1948 in Springfield, Illinois the son of Floyd and Kathryn (Morris) Dale. He was raised in Raytown, Missouri where he was a graduate of Raytown South High School. Following high school, Richard enrolled in Cosmetology School.  Richard was married to Karen S. Martin in October of 1979, and was divorced in 1992. Richard was an amazing father, grandfather and great grandfather to his children.  He was a hair stylist by trade, having owned and operated "The Lions Den" in Lee's Summit from 1980 until selling it when he retired. Richard enjoyed trail riding on horseback, he was a Chiefs and MU fan, loved working on his farm, he enjoyed attending the JC Cowboy Church and he loved his dog Lucky.

Survivors include his daughter: Deanna JA'nene Bass of Lone, Jack, MO; son: Stormy Lee Dale and daughter-n-law Lisa Dale of Centerview, MO; two brothers Bill Dale and sister-n-law Janis Dale of Clinton, MO; and David Dale of Kansas City; six grandchildren: Amber Loulos of Raytown, MO; Mason Bass of Lone Jack, MO; Kyra Walsh of Mayview, MO; Kelsie Gallegos of Odessa, MO; Aubrie Dale of Centerview, MO and Brodie Dale of Centerview, MO; seven great grandchildren: Jade, Joel, Evelyn, Mia, Joey, Paul and Hadley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Kathryn Dale; Brother Bob Dale and Brother John Dale.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday October 6th at Sandstone Country Club 77 NW Division Rd, Warrensburg, MO  64093 from 2pm to 5pm.

Memorial Contributions may be left to JC Cowboy Church.
