Pauline was born January 24, 1937 near Coal, Missouri; daughter of Paul and Opal (Bunch) Nichols.  She grew up in rural Henry County.  She attended Mound Springs School, graduated from Clinton High School and received her BS from Central Missouri State College.  Pauline taught elementary school for seventeen years.  She taught at Land, Garland North Kansas City, Farmer's and Concordia.  On August 20, 1960, she married Lawrence "Noble" Silvers at her parent's home.  Pauline and Noble made their home on a farm north of Warrensburg.  She helped with the farming and cattle operation.  She raised a big garden and canned what she produced.  Pauline enjoyed going to music shows, especially when Noble was performing.

Survivors include her husband, Noble; brothers: John (Helen) Nichols; Dale (Gayle) Nichols; sisters-in-law: Mary Nichols and Christine Hillen; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Susan and Roger Burch.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Frank Nichols and James Nichols and niece: Shirley Snodgrass.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 31 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rena Parma, Chaplain at Kindred Hospice officiating.  Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens in Warrensburg, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Friday at the funeral home.
