Paul Owen Bohannon, 89 of Holden, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Holden Manor Care Center.

Paul was born April 16, 1937 in Holden, son of Owen Otto Bohannon and Helen Beatrice (Chapman) Bohannon. He was raised on the family farm near Latour and he graduated from Latour High School. He was united in marriage to Alice "Marie" Cowan on May 10, 1957 in Latour. The couple resided in Kansas City from 1963 to 1977, where Paul served as a Kansas City Police Sergeant.  In 1977, he and Marie returned to the farm. He was an avid gun collector and reader.

Survivors include his son: Joe Bohannon (Rochelle) of Holden, MO; daughters: Glenda Wolfe of Cameron, MO and Nancy Bohannon of Joplin, MO; sisters: Joann Larson of Mountain Grove, MO and Mary Lee Lowry of Houston, MO; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20th at the Holden Cemetery, with Pastor Tom Rowland officiating. Pallbearers will be Joseph Bohannon, John Gunnerso, Drew Frame, Owen Frame, RJ Bohannon, and Cheyenne Bohannon.
