Norma Jane Whiting, 69 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg following a lengthy illness.

Jane was born September 23, 1951 in Enid, Oklahoma the daughter of Norman and Loretha (Kralicek) Huxman.  Due to her father's military career, the family resided in several places, prior to moving to Warrensburg in 1967.  Norma graduated from Warrensburg High School and subsequently earned a BS in Social and Human Services from UCM.  She was united in marriage to Bruce L. Whiting on August 13, 1976 in Warrensburg.  She enjoyed gardening, artwork and she loved her fur babies.

Survivors include her husband: Bruce; daughter: Amanda J. Woodard of Warrensburg, MO; son: Christopher Whiting of Higginsville, MO; Father: Norman Huxman (Patricia) of Sebring, FL; two sisters: Dallas Lee Ross (Ron) of Sebring, FL and Victoria Ruth Ingram of Littlerock, AR; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretha.

A celebration of life service is being planned.
