Michael McMillen, 70 of Holden, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at his home.

Mike was born October 8, 1951 at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas; the son of Wallace H. McMillen and Antoinette C. "Ann" (Lindenberger) McMillen.  Due to his father's military career, he resided in Kansas, Alaska and California before returning to Kansas. Mike graduated from Holden High School, Class of 69.  He served in the United States Air Force and later, the Army National Guard.   He was employed at the VA Hospital in Kansas City for many years.  Mike loved hunting for arrowheads and morel mushrooms.  He also enjoyed collecting antiques and reading.  Mike was a history buff.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Susan; three sons: Jonathan McMillen (Sheri) of Kingsville, MO; Russell McMillen (Jessie) and Steven McMillen (Susan) all of Shoreline, WA; sister: Patricia Wait (Ralph) and brother: Jim McMillen (Linda) all of Holden, MO; three grandchildren: Jessi Watson (Andy) of Warrensburg, MO; Rey McMillen of Kansas City, MO and Daisy McMillen of Shoreline, WA; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by parents.

There will be a private celebration of Life service scheduled at a later date.

Interment will be at Medford Cemetery south of Holden.
