Mary Lou Carlyle Carstensen, 86 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Country Club Rehab & Healthcare Center.

Mary was born March 7, 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of William and Gideon (Lowe) Eagleson.  She graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a beautician for 50 years in the Warrensburg area. During that time, she was united in marriage to Ray Carstensen on August 16, 2003, at Northside Christian Church. Mary enjoyed shopping and travelling to the Black Hills. She was also a part of the Red Hat Club of Warrensburg.

Survivors include her husband: Ray Carstensen; sons: Kelvin Carlyle (Gaylen); Kenny Carlyle (Tammy); grandchildren: Jennifer Cowick (Phil); Julie Gouveia (Matt); Curtis Larkin (Amanda); Heather Sipes (Travis); Todd Hawkinson; Shara Hawkinson; great grandchildren: Graysen; Sommer; Havyn; Huntlee; Quaid; Baylor; Carter; Bryer; Blakely; Kyree; sister: Martha Stone; and brother: Herb Eagleson. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; and first husband: Billy K. Carlyle.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Joel Kurz officiating. Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
