Marion H. Stanfield, 71 of Lee's Summit, Missouri; formerly of Warrensburg, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit.

Marion was born October 23, 1952 in Warrensburg, son of Elbert Harvey Stanfield and Eula Lee (Davidson) Stanfield.  He graduated from College High and from CMSU with a BS in Science  He owned and operated Warrensburg Cycle for many years.  Upon selling the business in 2009, he resided in Florida and Arizona prior to moving to Lee's Summit. Marion was united in marriage to Melissa Noelle Gilmore on October 1st of this year, in Lee's Summit. He loved music as well as riding motorcycles.  He rode motorcycles in all 50 states.  He also enjoyed riding jet skis, notably Sea Doo Personal Watercraft.  He would often take handicap people to Longview Lake to ride jet skies.  Marion was also actively involved with several charities, including the Salvation Army.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rev. Charles Brant officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service, Wednesday at the chapel.
