Marion Curtis Droege, 89 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the Ridge Crest Nursing Center in Warrensburg.

Marion was born March 14, 1936 near Valley City, Missouri, son of George and Sophie (Echoff) Droege.  He grew up in Valley City on the Droege farm. Marion was united in marriage to Anna Lee Chamberlain on September 11, 1956, residing in Valley City a short time before moving to Warrensburg.  He was united in marriage to Frances "Leona" Downing on August 2, 1997 in Banson, Missouri. He worked at Unifem for a short while.  In 1970 he started selling real estate, and after that he became a builder.

Marion's hobbies included working in his yard and garden, and fishing with his brothers: Marvin, Dennis, and son: Randy.  He belonged to a camping club, travelling all over the United States.

He is survived by his sister: Darlene-Gordan Thompson of Columbia; sister-in-law: Deloris Ehlers of Warrensburg; son: Randy Droege of Warrensburg; and several cousins; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Joel Kurz officiating.

A private interment will be held at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
