Madalyn Sue Austin

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Madalyn Sue Austin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on June 12, 2026, at the age of 82.

Sue was born in Brownwood, Texas, to Miriam Magdalene and Charles Bennett Bullion.  She met the love of her life, Donald Austin, and the two were married in 1963. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unconditional love. From their union came two daughters, Angela Kaminski and Teresa (Bud) Wendling.

Sue was blessed with four grandchildren: Jenifer (Ray) Western, Magdalene (Kyle) Kaminski, Kelsi (Micky) Wyatt, and Levi (Dana) Wendling. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Macklin Western, Joel Lickers Lamarca, Weston Wyatt, Braden Wyatt, and Lainey Wendling.  She is also survived by her loving sister Donna Bullion White.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles Bullion, and her beloved eldest daughter, Angela Kaminski.

Sue lived a life defined by her deep love for family, her infectious laugh, and her unmistakable Texas accent. She was the heart of our family and our cherished matriarch. Her caring nature, unwavering support, and fierce love touched everyone who knew her. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in the memories she gave us, the lessons she taught us, and the love she leaves behind. Her legacy will live on through the family she treasured so dearly.
