passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at Arbors at Glendale Gardens in Clinton

Lucille was born March 19, 1932 in Newburg, New York; daughter of James and Lucille (Thompkins) Tweed. She was united in marriage to Ernest M. Witt November 1, 1957 in Gainesville, Florida. Due to her husband's Air Force career, the couple resided all over the United States as well as the world. The couple moved to Whiteman in 1977, where Lucille was housekeeping supervisor at the base hospital for the next 17 years. The couple resided in Warrensburg since 1993. Lucille enjoyed being a drum major during her teen years, and also, dancing. Survivors include her husband, Ernie; daughter: Sabrina (Dale) Parsons of Warrensburg; son: Ernest Witt, Jr. of Lee's Summit, MO; brother: Melvin Tweed of Newburg, NY; three sisters: Lorraine Sharkey of Newburg, NY; Alda "La" of Washingtonville, NY and Sally Griffin of Newburg, NY; four grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by a daughter: Lisa Ann Campbell and seven brothers and sisters.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rev. Sid Tiller of Northside Christian Church officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
