Lorraine E. Witherspoon, 79 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.

Lorraine was born August 8, 1939 at Rock Island, Illinois, daughter of Clarence and Nora Allison. She was united in marriage to Harrison Witherspoon on June 25, 1984. She was a resident of Brumley, Illinois and Camdenton, Missouri prior to moving to Warrensburg. Throughout her working years, Lorraine cleaned hotel rooms, was a restaurant cook and also a school crossing guard. She participated in bible study at First Christian Church, with her friend, Sadie Mapes. She loved being around children and serving people. Lorraine is survived by her sister, Janet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison and her sister, Lucille.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rev. Charles Brandt officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery, north of Warrensburg.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Thursday at the funeral home.
