Lori Jean Cooper, 64 of Kingsville, Missouri  passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Lori was born October 16, 1958 in Red Oak, Iowa the daughter of Leo and Ruby (Davis) Petty.  She was raised in Audubon, Iowa.  Lori was united in marriage to Ivan J. Cooper on March 21, 1975 in Audubon.  The couple initially resided in Rantoul, Illinois.  They eventually returned to Iowa, having lived in several communities.  Next they made their home in Kansas City, Kansas for 20 years.  The couple have resided in Kingsville for the past 21 years. Lori's hobbies included sewing, quilting, cooking and gardening.  She loved classic cars and especially taking care of her loving family.

Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 48 years, Ivan; two daughters: Dixie L. Sellars (Chad) of Rich Hill, MO and Angela B. Moss (Robert) of Adrian, MO; three sons: Nathan A. Cooper of Phoenix, AZ; Zackary A. Cooper (Jeanna) of Kingsville, MO and Adam C. Cooper of Kingsville, MO; two sisters: Luann Olsen (Gary) of Exira, IA and Elsie Flug (Richard) of Audubon, IA; three brothers: Kevin Petty (Cherie) of Exira, IA; Dell Petty of Minnesota and Sid Petty (Cherie) of Atlantic, IA; six grandchildren: Caleb Lavery, Kaitlyn Lavery, Sophia Moss, Tyler Warren, Emily Glynn and Noah Cooper; three great grandchildren: Mason Warren, Lydia Warren and Wyatt Glenn and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by both parents; sister: Donna Guehrn and three brothers: Ronald, Ralph and Roger Petty.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 3 ^rd at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Rev. William Say of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Lee's Summit officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday March 2 ^nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Williams.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4 ^th at Maple Grove Cemetery near Audubon, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to the Lori Jean Cooper Memorial Fund in care of Williams.
