Lois Jean Morgan, 87 of Centerview, Missouri; formerly of Slater and Gilliam passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit.

Lois was born December 10, 1930 in Callao, Missouri; daughter of Carl King and Ruby Jean (Morris) King. Her family moved to Slater when she was twelve and she graduated from Slater High School. Shortly following, Lois was a bookkeeper for Morgan Construction. She was united in marriage to Edward H. "E. H." Morgan on April 18, 1949 in Las Vegas. The couple resided in Gilliam, Missouri until moving to Centerview in April of 1959. Lois' hobbies included puzzle books, and card playing. She also loved traveling with her husband and gardening in years past.

Survivors include two daughters: Shirley Bryan and husband, Dale of Chilhowee, MO and Carla Potter of Centerview, MO; son: Tom Morgan and wife, Donna of Knob Noster, MO; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. H. on February 6, 1997; sister, Fletha and brother, Lyman.

Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4th at the Slater City Cemetery at Slater, Missouri with Rev. Charles Brant officiating.
