Lois Laverne Eagleson, 87 of Holden, Missouri died peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Lois was born May 3, 1934 in Holden, to Eugene and Lola Arline (Shimel) Hancock.  She graduated from Holden High School, Class of 1952.  She married James L. Eagleson on April 17, 1955.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, James on January 30, 1995; brother: Lawrence Hancock and his wife, Dortha; brothers-in-law: Jim Hobbs and Bill Dawson; son: Harlan Eagleson and great grandson: Raylan Eagleson.

Survivors include her sons: Robert Eagleson (Jan) of Holden; Martin Eagleson (Becky) of Virginia; Harold Eagleson (Glenna Jo Courtney) of Florida; daughter-in-law: Karen Eagleson of Holden; grandson: Chris Eagleson (Kristin) of Kingsville; granddaughter: Karell Johnson of Holden; great granddaughters: Nevaeh Johnson; Meagan, Lauren and Raelyn Eagleson; sisters: Lola Dawson and Leona Hobbs, both of Kingsville and brother: Lloyd Hancock of Raytown.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m.  Saturday, October 16 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Elder Warren Stowell officiating. Interment will follow at New Liberty Cemetery, near the Magnolia Community.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice in care of the funeral home.
