Obituary

Linda (Colster) Siegfried, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on August 7, 1948, Linda lived a life full of love, dedication, and support for her family and community. She was a lifelong resident of Centerview.

Linda graduated from College High School in 1966. She married Donald Siegfried on July 26, 1968, and together they built a life centered around family and community. They were blessed with two children, Scott (Lisa) Siegfried of Centerview and Johnna (Matt) Natali of Grain Valley, who brought immense joy to their lives.

Linda's career began with a year of college before she started working as a secretary at College High School. Her professional journey continued at Louie's Farm and Home, followed by roles as a bus driver and later the secretary for Crest Ridge High School. She concluded her career at Western Missouri Title Company, retiring after over twenty years of dedicated service.

Linda was known for her unwavering support of her children and grandchildren. She was a constant presence at their activities, always found in the bleachers or on the sidelines, cheering them on with pride. Her grandchildren, Jon (Ashlyn) Siegfried (Kansas City), David (fiancee Aubrey) Siegfried (Centerview), Ellie Siegfried (Centerview), Kaylee Siegfried (London, UK), Luke Natali (Grain Valley), and Hank Natali (Grain Valley), will forever cherish the memories of their grandmother's enthusiastic encouragement. Linda also delighted in the company of her great-grandchildren, Alice and Gracie.

In addition to her immediate family, Linda is survived by her sister, Kay Reynolds (Warrensburg), and numerous nieces and nephews, who were more like her own children. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Gilbert and Opal Colster, her sister, Jackie Cozad, brothers-in-law, Jack Reynolds and Harley Mifflin, and nephew, Todd Dolan.

Linda's legacy of love and support lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family, friends, and community will deeply miss her presence, but they find comfort in the countless memories of her kindness and good nature.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Runyun officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Crest Ridge Education Foundation or Crest Ridge Booster Club in Linda's memory.

Linda Siegfried will be remembered as a dedicated wife, a nurturing mother, a doting grandmother, and a loyal friend. Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community.
