Laura Ann Brunner, 53 of Warrensburg passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas.

Laura was born June 18, 1968 in St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter of William Eugene Brunner and Marjorie Ann (Buerkett) Brunner.  She was raised in Holden having graduated from Holden High School.  She received her B.S. from Tarkio College.  Laura married Matthew Lee Hafferkamp on June 20, 1992 in Warrensburg where the couple made their home.  She was employed at Powell Gardens and in the lab at C.M.S.U. prior to working with the Force Support Squadron at Whiteman AFB.  Laura enjoyed archery in years past and hunting.  She loved crocheting.

Survivors include her two daughters: Leeann Hafferkamp and Lillian Hafferkamp, both of Warrensburg, MO; father: Bill Brunner of Holden, MO; sister: Janet Wutke(Mike) of Marshfield, MO; three brothers: Larry Brunner (Julie) of Kingsville, MO; Dennis Brunner (Terri) of Centralia, MO and Brian Brunner (Sara) of Overland Park, KS; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie.

There will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
