Ken was born January 24, 1942 in St. Charles, Missouri, son of Kenneth Eugene Lovick and Anna Lucille (Bond) Lovick. He graduated from high school at Raytown. He married Betty A. Zook, and to this union, five children were born. Ken worked at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City for nearly twenty five years. He moved to Kingsville in 1975. Ken married Christine J. (Tidwell) Fields on December 30, 2003 in Kingsville. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and photography.

Survivors include his wife, Christine; daughter: Kathy (Daran) Shinn of Garden City, MO; son: Kenneth "Drew" (Ludis) Lovick, Jr. of Panama; step daughter: Charity Fields of Kingsville, MO; two stepsons: Shawn (Sara) Fields of Topeka, KS and Andrew (Aimee) Fields of Independence, MO; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eleven step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Deborah Crumpton; two sons: Michael and Christopher; and an infant great grandson.

Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 7th at the Kingsville Cemetery.
