Kenneth Walter Collins, 93 formerly of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Saturday, Jun 7, 2025 at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa Senior Living and Care.

Kenneth was born August 24, 1931 at Mt. Olive, Missouri the son of William C. Collins and Laura F. (Woods) Collins.  He graduated from Hubbard High School in Sedalia. Kenneth served in the U. S. Army from 1950 to 1953, and was awarded the Purple Heart.  He was united in marriage to Harry Lee Ball, who preceded him in death.  Kenneth worked for many years at the Ammunition Plant in Lake City.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching baseball.  He was a big Royals fan.

Survivors include his four daughters: Jacquelyn McKinney of Kansas City, MO; Gwendolyn Griggs of Grandview, MO; Phyllis Collins of Kansas City, MO and Sherry Collins of Warrensburg, MO; and two granddaughters: Tyra Griggs of Denver, CO and Donei Griggs of Chicago, IL.  In addition to his wife, Harry Lee, Keneth was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Collins.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 16th at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg, with Pastor Everett Hannon officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ernest Collins Jr., William "Billy" Collins, Roger Collins, Andre Morris, Kevin Morris, Adrain Rucker, Christopher Taylor, Jon Norwood, Darlwin Nelson,  Jerry Rucker, Timmy Reed, Bobby Reed, Mark Reed, Bryan Collins, Brent Rusk, Willie and Jacob Goodwin.
