John "Eric" Eaton, 59, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away January 6, 2020 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Eric was born November 14, 1960 in King City, Missouri, son of Lamaster Eaton and Daisy Murphy.  At the age of 8, Eric moved to Warrensburg to live with his foster mother, Mrs. Corbin. He lived with her until 1984, where he resided and worked at RISE as a production worker for the following 34 years.  Amongst Eric's hobbies are collecting hats, shirts with pockets, beadwork and fishing.  He was also an avid fan of McDonald's cheeseburgers, Coca-Cola and The Dukes of Hazard.

Eric is survived by his sister: Marjorie Moody; Brothers: Gary Eaton, Terry Eaton and Verlin Eaton; Foster brother: Mike Dauma; and best friend: Bill Dorr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Foster mother, and foster sister: Brenda Orndorff.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2020 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg, Missouri with John Mark Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Maysville, Missouri, where a committal service will be held at 2:30. Pallbearers will be Bill Dorr, Keith Smith, David LeMarr, Coral Tao, Jason Duffy and Mike Dauma.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.
