James Snyder Bryant, 72 of the Medford Community, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his home.

James was born September 15, 1947 at Rose Hill, Missouri the son of Glen Curtis Bryant and Grace Elizabeth (Snyder) Bryant.  Shortly following, the family moved to their Century Farm near Medford.  He graduated from Holden High School.  Jim served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was united in marriage to Theresa L. Hammond on January 21, 1977 at Miami, Oklahoma.  He was employed at Church & Dwight in Harrisonville.  Jim also farmed throughout this life, something he truly loved.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa; son: Cody Bryant of Holden, MO; sister: Barbara Bruns (James) of Kansas City, MO; brother: Robert Bryant (Sophie) of Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Tony Bryant.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 3 ^rd at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Pastor Bobby Kent officiating. Interment will follow at Medford Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service, Friday at the funeral home.
