Obituary

Jenny K. Boyer, 70 of Centerview, Missouri passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Lee's Summit Medical Center.

Jenny was born August 28, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas, She was a graduate of Holden High School, Class of 66. She was united in marriage to Judd E. Boyer on November 29, 1969 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Holden. The couple lived in Centerview since 1969. "Jenny," as she liked to be called, was the boss. She was the boss without being bossy. People gravitated to her for her common sense, outspoken personality and wry, keen sense of humor. She saw the world in a big picture of right and wrong, what was decent, and she lived her life that way. Jenny made her own choices right to the end, considering what was the best choice for her as well as those she loved. We are glad she let us be a part of her world.

Survivors include her husband Judd; son: Jason Boyer and husband, Billy Cooper of Gladstone, MO; daughter: Jessica Boyer of Centerview, MO; grandson: Nicholaus Boyer of Centerview, MO; three sisters, seven brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents; son, Kevin and one brother.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22nd at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Holden with Father Curt Vogel officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Ronald McDonald House of Delaware or Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
