Jeanie Martha Hollingsworth, 68 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Friday, October 30, 2026 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Jeanie was born September 8, 1958 in Sedalia, Missouri the daughter of James R. Van Hook and Billie J. (Carver) Hook. She was raised in Otterville, Missouri, having graduated from Otterville High School. She graduated from University of Central Missouri, with a Masters in Counseling.

She was united in marriage to Jerry Wayne Hollingsworth on June 19, 1981 in Sedalia. In 1983, the couple moved to a farm north of Warrensburg. Jeanie was a counselor with Children Social Services for many years. She loved gardening, notably Tomatoes and she was an avid reader.

Survivors include sons: Charles “Robert” Hollingsworth (Felicity Mitchell) of Warrensburg, MO and Benjamin Hollingsworth of Leavenworth, KS; and grandson, Devan Lee Hollingsworth. She was preceded in death by her husband and both parents.

There will be no services scheduled.
