Emogene H. "Jean" Williams, 93 of Gravois Mills, Missouri; formerly of Warrensburg passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Lee's Summit Medical Center.

Jean was born July 26, 1924 in Higginsville, Missouri, daughter of Cecil P. and Helen (Mountain) Corbin. She graduated from Lexington High School, Class of 42. Jean was united in marriage to Garland R. Williams on June 8, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas. The couple owned and operated Williams Furniture Store in Warrensburg for thirty seven years. In 1988, the couple retired to Lake of the Ozarks.

Survivors include two daughters: Sonja Stanley of Centerview, MO and Pam Borel of South Daytona, FL; brother: Bob Corbin and wife, Betty of St. Louis, MO; two grandchildren: Doug Hayes and wife, Arline of Odessa, MO and Dustie McGrew of Marshall, MO; five great grandchildren: Justin Lightner, Kyle Lightner, Dylan Madrid, Courtney Davis and Caden McGrew; and great-great granddaughter: Kaylee Madrid. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland; son: Steve Williams; granddaughter: Sandy Lightner and two son-in-laws: Dean Stanley and Chuck Borel.

Following cremation, private family services will be held.
