James Leroy Robinson, Jr., 76 of rural Centerview, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

James was born September 2, 1945 in Warrensburg, son of James Leroy Robinson, Sr. and Dorothy Virginia (Wilson) Robinson.  He graduated from Warrensburg High School and started farming with his dad.  Jim was united in marriage to the love of his life, Sharon Ann Laughman on November 28, 1981 in Warrensburg.  The couple made their home on a farm near Centerview.  He farmed and drove a dump truck for the majority of his adult life. Jim was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan.

Survivors include four siblings: Patricia Mahan of Warsaw, MO; Donna Stewart (Melvin) of Warrensburg, MO; Tommy Robinson (Malia) of Warrensburg, MO and Linda Burns (Bob) of Knob Noster, MO; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; parents and a sister: Carol Johnson.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 13 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Gina Johnson, of First Christian Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service, Monday at the funeral home.
