James "Jim" Marion Donovan, 74 of Knob Noster, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Jim was born January 6, 1948 in Climax Springs, Missouri, son of James Harvey Donovan and Velma Jane (Skinner) Donovan. He graduated high school from Fort Osage in Independence, Missouri. James was united in marriage to Brenda Robertson on December 20, 1974 in Belton, Missouri. He worked at Gardner Denver Compressors for over twenty years before retiring on April 1, 2001.  His hobbies and interests included cars, reading, and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include his wife: Brenda Donovan of Knob Noster, Missouri; sisters: Barb Farmer (Ed) of Buckner, Missouri; Jeanie Howard (John) of Knob Noster, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Velma Donovan; and sister: Janice Ann Burns.
