James Edward "Sonny" Gregory, 83 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.

Sonny was born May 19, 1940 in Windsor, Missouri, son of James and Grace (Land) Gregory.  In additional to other things, he worked as a nursing assistant at several local care centers throughout the years.

Survivors include his brother: Harold Gregory (Margaret); sister-in-law: Zelma Gregory; best friend, Lacey Parks and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Kenneth, Donald  "Dude" and Larry Gregory and four sisters: Frances, Mary Taylor, Lillian Zumalt and Shirley Weatherby.

There will be a private interment at Laurel Oaks Cemetery in Windsor at a later date.
