Herbert "Herbie" Singleton, 56 of Knob Noster, Missouri passed away February 9, 2022 at his residence.

Herbert was born January 5, 1966, son of Wallace Singleton and Thelma (Boagni) Singleton. Following Herbie's graduation from Knob Noster high school, he pursued a career in culinary. He was a chef at many restaurants, hotels and the United States Military dining hall. Herbie worked construction for a few years before starting a position with Milbank in Concordia, where he worked for over five years.  He enjoyed reading, writing, classic rock, movies and cooking for funeral services of friends and loved ones. Herbie also was a cook at the 2002 winter Olympics.

Survivors include his wife: Pauline Ochoa; daughter: Christina (Jesus) Matacua; sons: Michael (Lisa) Goodwin; Brad Goodwin; Titus Singleton; Joshua (Johanna) Singleton; Richard Ochoa; Isaiah (Sabrina) Singleton; grandchildren: Sergio Matacua; Veronica Matacua; Rosario Matacua; Juliana Matacua; Maria Goodwin; Michael Goodwin; Michaela Goodwin; Michale Goodwin; Sophia Singleton; Harper Singleton; Fearless Max Singleton; Bonnie Sinlgeton; sisters: Joanna Singleton; Zerita (Mark) Vansel; brothers: Titus (Sarah) Singleton; Pat Stelly; Paul Stelly; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg. Interment will follow at Knob Noster Cemetery in Knob Noster, Missouri.  People are welcome to come by the funeral home and pay their respects from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022. There will be a private viewing from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the funeral home.
