Harold Ray Bowers, 68 of Knob Noster, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home.

Harold was born December 13, 1953 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Leroy F. and Eulah (Brazeal) Bowers.  He graduated from high school in Thayer, Missouri.  He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in May of 1974.  Harold was united in marriage to Cathy Mortland on July 6, 1974 in St. Louis.  The couple moved to Knob Noster shortly thereafter and Harold was stationed at Whiteman AFB.  The couple moved to Belgium for one year during the mid 80's.  Following his discharge from active duty, Harold worked for ten years at Whiteman in Civil Service.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing and wii golf.  In years past, he enjoyed competing in internet poker.  He was also a huge Chiefs Fan.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy; three sons: Jason Bowers (Samantha Josephine) of Knob Noster, MO; Jeremy Bowers of Knob Noster, MO and Joshua Bowers of Leavenworth, KS; six grandchildren: Gage, Amy, Phoenix, Taylyn, Skylar and Jerimiah Bowers; and a sister: Betty Hull of the state of Virginia.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Fred and Danny.

Funeral Services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 6 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Erich Kurz, Crossroads Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment  will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, with Full Military Honors being provided by U. S. A. F. Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service, Thursday at the chapel.
