Eric Allen Reynolds, 43 of Nixa, formerly of Holden, passed away November 23, 2019 in Nixa, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 29 ^th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden, with Pastor John McRoy of Kingsville Baptist Church officiating.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, southwest of Holden.  The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jared Reynolds, Stephen Reynolds, Don Hill, Bryan McConnell, Paul Roberts, and Mark Shrum.

Eric was born in Harrisonville, Missouri to John and Shirley (Eissler) Reynolds on July 29, 1976. He graduated from Holden High School in 1994.  He lived with Darlene Hill, of the home, in Nixa. Eric started working at Eissler Farms as a teenager then went on to work at various cabinet shops before starting his own business, Simply Custom Wood Products. There wasn't anything that he couldn't do with wood. He was a truly amazing craftsman.  Eric was also a good mechanic and could fix about anything. He was a truly wonderful son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Eric never met a stranger and spent a lot of time helping others that were better off than himself. For 43 years his father would continually tell him everything would be okay, and in the last four months Eric turned the tables and was telling his dad it would all be okay. He would say that Jesus loved him enough to die for him and he knew it.

Eric was preceded in death by Grandparents: Otto and Betty Eissler, Harold and Doris Reynolds; Aunt: Sharon Lunt; Father-in-law: Don Hill, and Step Father-in-law: Emil Shrickel and his beloved dog Simply.

Survivors include his wife: Darlene Hill; daughters: Nikki and Mark Shrum, Michelle Hill and Paul Roberts and adopted son: Donald "Junior" and Corina Brown;  parents: John and Shirley Reynolds. Mother-in-law: Michelle Schrickel; siblings: Jared and Jessica Reynolds, Stephen and Cathy Reynolds, Megan and Bryan McConnel, Don Hill, Coleen and Alex Ramos, Doreen and Rod Trenholm. Nieces and nephews: Marshal McConnell, Brock Reynolds, Brody Reynolds, Bethany Reynolds, Millie McConnell.  Grandchild: Cleopatra Roberts. Aunts and Uncles: Joe Lunt, Shirley Reynolds, Jim and Cindy Reynolds, Danny and Robin Eissler, Carolyn and Gary Garrett, and many cousins and loved ones.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation and the National Kidney Foundation.

There will be an additional memorial service in Nixa at a later date.
