Ellen Joyce Brown, 87 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Ellen was born January 2, 1938 in Wichita, Kansas, daughter of Virgil and Dorris (Otis) Dody. She was united in marriage to Gary Lee Brown on July 23, 1956 in Wichita. Her employment history included being a faithful homemaker, and accountant work with Koch Industries and Metcalf 103.  Ellen's hobbies included quilting, sewing, cross stitching, reading, cooking, and ancestry history.

Survivors include her daughter: Leigh Pierce; grandchildren: Whitney Hollinger; Kayce Pierce; Lauren Mynatt; Karissa Wilkerson, Gary Pierce; Brooke Brown; great grandchildren: Colson; Carson; Avery; Cody; Adleight; Nola; borther: Dennis Dody; sister: Linda Puryer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ellen Brown Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
